Football trip is a great experience
Members of the Worth first team squad and some of the School’s most promising young players spent a weekend in Plymouth training with professional coaches and learning more about the life of a footballer.
The players took part in sessions with Plymouth Argyle coaches at the club’s new academy and community complex and enjoyed a tour of Home Park which is currently under reconstruction. The team also visited Torquay United where they were granted the opportunity to visit the home dressing room pre-match to speak to the players, before watching Torquay win to stay top of their division.
The School’s league programme starts this Saturday with fixtures against Sevenoaks.
Every year students at Worth take part in a wide variety of trips, exchanges and visit, offering them experiences they would not otherwise get and developing them as individuals.
