More presentations mark another successful sporting year

A number of sports presentations were made before students broke up for their summer holidays.

In the final assembly of the academic year, the U14A cricket side which recently won two county cup finals were re-presented with the medals they received after winning the Lord’s Taverners Cup. They will now go on to represent the School in the national rounds of that competition in September.

The U15 girls’ tennis team which beat Hurst College to win their county cup final were honoured, with medals presented by the Head Master, Mr Stuart McPherson. Various impressive athletics achievements were also recognised, while annual sporting awards trophies which were not presented at the Sports Dinner in May were handed out.

It has been another successful term and sporting year for the School. Congratulations to all who have been part of that.
