Sporting awards presented
Worth is proud of the fact that 87% of students represented the School in a sporting capacity at some level in the last academic year.
Pupils played for the School in 14 different sports and the participation total reflects a growing number of teams at various age groups, as well as new sports introduced in recent times including boys' hockey, girls' football, lacrosse and swimming.
Speaking in the final assembly of the Summer Term, Director of Sport Mr David Burton said he was delighted with the participation levels at Worth and his challenge was now "the remaining 13%". Mr Burton and Head Master, Mr Stuart McPherson, went on to make a number of presentations for a variety of sporting achievements. Pictured here are some of the winners.
