Twelfth Night set to be a great show - tickets available now

Set in the 1920s, the Drama department’s adaptation of William Shakespeare’s Twelfth Night is going to be another outstanding show.

The Middle School production takes place next week, on Thursday 22 February and Friday 23 February starting at 7.30pm with refreshments from 7pm.

The students have been working hard in rehearsals for the play which will include plenty of 1920s music and a gold and black themed set. Mrs Sarah Smith, who is directing the play, said: “It will be very funny with comic characters such as Malvolio, Sir Toby and Sir Andrew. We have some very talented performers in the show; there will be dancing and it will start with a dramatic ship wreck.

“Twelfth Night breached a lot of boundaries and taboos. We feel it works well set in the 1920s when things were changing and life was becoming very liberal. This production will showcase the younger talent we have in the School and will be well worth coming along to.”

Tickets are priced at £7 and are available by emailing theatre@worth.org.uk
