A fantastic evening of music

Worth’s musicians celebrated this term’s music with a fabulous Ensembles Concert in the Abbey Church yesterday evening.

The Autumn Term Ensembles Concert included music from the Concert Band, Jazz Band, Symphony Orchestra, Chamber Choir and smaller ensembles.

A wide range of repertoire ranged from Rossini’s famous William Tell Overture played by the Symphony Orchestra to classic jazz standards (including My Funny Valentine) played by the Jazz Band, to rock, pop and film music arrangements played by the Concert Band and Brass Band including Elton John’s Rocket Man.

Well done to everyone who performed in an excellent concert.

Here is a gallery of pictures from the evening.
