A new film about girls’ boarding

Worth is delighted to share a new film we have had made about girls’ boarding, which we offer for Years 9 to 13.

The School has two girls’ boarding Houses – St Mary’s Middles and Sixth – as well as three boys’ boarding Houses. This year St Mary’s Sixth has its largest ever cohort with more than 50 girls from around the world.

We are proud of our boarding provision, having been named Boarding School of the Year at the Independent Schools of the Year awards in October 2024, which was a reward for the work we have done over a number of years to constantly evolve our provision for boarders.

Then in January boarding at Worth was highlighted in a glowing ISI Inspection Report, with the accolade 'highly effective' given to the ‘leadership of boarding’ as well as the ‘management of boarding’.

Worth has a Head of Boarding who organises activities and events for boarders on Saturday evenings. Our broad-ranging weekend programme also offers activities, trips and social events on Friday evenings, Saturday mornings and Sundays.

We also now offer flexi options for boys and girls in Year 9 onwards subject to availability.
