A record-breaking Sports Day 2025

It was another day of records tumbling as our students showed tremendous talent and spirit at our annual Athletics Championships at K2 Crawley.

New bests were set in the high jump, discus, shot put and middle distance running, as well as other events, on a fantastic day of competition. A full list of records broken will be published when they were available but, after 14 records being broken in 2024, it was great to see our students pushing themselves to even greater heights.

With lots of fantastic performances too, the day showcased everything good about sport at Worth. Students were competing for the Worth Community Trophy, which means points were important, so every contribution was valued and celebrated by each of the six teams.

The Victor Ludorum award, for the boy of the meeting, went to Archie and the Victrix Ludorum, for the girl athlete of the meeting, was won by Annabel – with both individuals each setting two new school records.

Well done to all students who competed.
