Acknowledging our young leaders

Congratulations to Sixth Form students who were acknowledged in assembly this week for completing the 2026 Worth Leadership Formation course.

Worth runs this course each academic year to equip young people with leadership skills to help them in their onward journeys from the School.

The course runs from September to May for Year 12 students, teaching them authentic leadership style, motivation and values. Guest speakers come to the School to speak to the students and the course is completed by attending the Saturday morning sessions, writing a reflection on the course and producing a portfolio to demonstrate service and leadership.

Students wishing to be considered for prefect positions have to complete the course but you do not have to be applying for such roles to undertake it.

At Worth, academia and results are important, but we also believe that it is through the dual focus on the highest quality education and personal exploration that young people are shaped.

Our 2026 Worth Leadership Formation cohort were congratulated in assembly this week by Head Mr Ben Pennington before gathering for a group picture.

Well done to each of them.
