Alumni return for sports fixtures

Former students were warmly welcomed back on to campus at our Welcome Festival last Saturday for alumni matches against the school netball and hockey first teams.

The matches were arranged by Worth Society, our award-winning alumni association, in collaboration with the sports department and new Head Ben Pennington attended to present trophies to the winning teams. Both games this year were won by school sides.

The Worth Society also had a stall at the festival to showcase the ongoing work they do to enable former students to stay in touch with one another for business and social networking purposes, providing careers advice, support and lifelong guidance. Each year the Society organises a variety of networking evenings, reunion dinners and social events, as well as running alumni sports clubs for cricket, football, golf, netball, rugby and tennis.
