An insight into the world of physics

Sixth Form students were given an insight into the world of physics beyond the classroom when they attended the Physics in Action show at the Emmanuel Centre in London.

The day included informative discussions, interactive sessions and inspirational stories from leading lights in the world of physics. This included talks on a wide range of topics, from quantum computing to planetary science.

There was also a special session on examination success designed to provide students with the tools that they need to excel. With polls, quizzes and a chance to question the scientists present, this was a fascinating day for our students which not only extended their knowledge of the subject but also gave them ideas of future careers.
