Students enjoyed another hugely enriching Academic Scholars’ Society talk last week when Mrs Frances Baily spoke about ‘The History of the UK Nuclear Deterrent’.
The Academic Scholars’ Society is open to all students, not just scholars, and provides a wide range of experiences and challenges to build upon academic learning and success.
The Society meets once a week and the programme includes a host of speakers, both internal and external, who deliver talks on a variety of topics. The Society also helps students in preparing applications to top universities and highly competitive courses, it offers enriching trips and encourages students to challenge themselves by entering national academic competitions.

A huge range of opportunities for academic enrichment exist outside of the classroom at Worth.
