Athletes show talent and courage

Our athletics team produced excellent and courageous performances at the second Sussex Independent Schools Diamond League meeting of the year which was held at K2 Crawley.

Among the junior athletes, Harry made his debut for the team in the 300m, high jump and relay, while Zach, Emma and Christabel all did themselves incredibly proud, with a special mention to Emma for performing outstandingly in her first senior school event.

Ethan blazed into second place in the 100m sprint in an amazing time of 11.61.

Among the seniors, Ewan and Michael made welcome returns in the high jump, while Izzy, Laragh and Jaslyn all competed in multiple events, some for the first time. Special mention to Josh who competed in both the 1500m and 800m, placing fifth and second.

Thank you to students Matthew and Josh for the pictures.
