Boarders in the fast line

Our weekends programme at Worth is full of exciting opportunities for boarders and students had great fun last weekend using race simulators set up in the Sports Hall at Worth.

Every weekend there is a programme of activities, social events and trips for boarders on Friday evening, Saturday morning, Saturday evening and Sunday morning. These activities are open to day students too should they wish to join in.

As well as the race simulators last Friday, students could play Strike a Light, a high-speed reaction game where players hit flashing lights as quickly as possible to score points. One of our students even set a new record for the game, beating the previous record set by one of the providing company’s staff members.

This weekend there will be crazy golf and dance mats in the Sports Hall this evening, while tomorrow morning there is a Year 9 and 10 go-karting outing to Crawley. Tomorrow evening there will be a board games night for Years 9 to 13, while on Sunday there is an organised trip to Bluewater shopping centre.
