A group of boys in Butler House have set themselves a challenge to raise £1,500 for St Catherine’s, a local hospice.

The boys, who are undertaking the initiative as a Youth Enterprise Project, launched their fundraising with a Krispy Kreme doughnut sale yesterday which raised £367. They are selling doughnuts again today and other fundraising ideas are planned for the coming weeks.

The fantastic work that St Catherine’s Hospice does has inspired the Butler boys to take action. The hospice in Crawley is a charity with a big ambition – to make sure nobody faces death and loss alone. The hospice relies on donations to offer pioneering end of life care and support to people in Sussex and East Surrey.

A JustGiving page has been set up by the boys for people to make donations.
