Our second major production of the academic year takes to the stage at the end of March and the cast of Lord of the Flies has been working hard to deliver another fabulous show.
At Worth we put on three major shows each year, offering pupils of all ages the opportunity to perform or be part of the stage crew. Our productions are widely regarded to be outstanding.
The Middle School production of Lord of the Flies reimagines William Golding’s classic novel in a contemporary post-nuclear world. This concept, set against the backdrop of today’s political climate, adds profound poignancy and striking relevance to the mid-century text.
Featuring an ambitious set design with live camera work and over four tons of sand, the show offers a bold, immersive retelling of this timeless story.
Lord of the Flies takes to the stage on 27 and 28 March. Tickets for this show and the Junior School musical Matilda in June are now on sale at: https://events.liveit.io/worth-school/
