Catholic Confirmation 2026

Worth students were invited to embrace a belonging, an identity and an awareness of mission as our annual Confirmation Mass took place in a packed Abbey Church on Sunday.

A total of 30 students, mainly from Year 10 but also including some Sixth Form students, received the Sacrament of Confirmation in a beautiful service led by Abbot Mark.

The Abbot reminded confirmands, ‘This is not the end, this is the beginning’, in an uplifting service which was attended by all boarding students and staff, alongside families and friends of those being confirmed.

Following the Mass, there was a celebration lunch for those confirmed and their families.

Each year the Chaplaincy team at Worth runs a Confirmation programme for pupils who wish to take part.
