Celebrating student success

Mon, Aug 12th, 2024
Worth School

Worth offers a huge range of opportunities for academic enrichment outside of the classroom and one example is the Model United Nations Society which helps students develop research and public speaking skills.

Model United Nations (MUN) conferences are a simulation of the United Nations for students in schools and higher education, and Worth sends teams to conferences throughout the academic year.

These conferences are great opportunities for our students to develop skills and grow in confidence, and it is lovely when their hard work and development is rewarded with success.

At the final assembly of the academic year, five students received certificates from Head Master Mr Stuart McPherson to acknowledge their success at the MUN conference hosted by Hurst College in July. At that event, two Worth students were awarded bronze medals and one a silver for the way they debated.

Congratulations to all five students.
