Charity hockey is a fantastic night

Well done to Sixth Formers who organised this week’s staff versus students charity hockey match which has raised nearly £900 for Breast Cancer Now.

This annual event took place on the Astro on Wednesday evening with lots of students from all year groups in attendance to support proceedings while our parent association, the Friends of Worth, served hot chocolate and marshmallows. There was also live commentary of the game and a pizza van in attendance.

The staff team, driven on by Head of Hockey and double Olympian Mr Calum Giles, led until the final stages when the team of Sixth Form students scored twice to secure a 4-3 victory.

The Sixth Formers set a target of raising £1,000 for Breast Cancer Now. If you can help them reach their target, please donate by clicking on this link.
