Cricketers impress at schools’ festival

Worth’s 1st XI cricketers won an impressive three games out of four when they took part in the Emeriti Schools’ Festival for the first time.

The team travelled to Yorkshire for the tournament at Ampleforth College last weekend and produced a number of good team and individual performances across the fixtures.

The trip also included a fixture against Rugby School on the way which brought an end to a run of four straight victories for Worth.

Emeriti Cricket Club is made up of cricketers associated with the Catholic schools of the UK.

Well done to the team.

Thank you to a parent for the pictures.
