Drama Awards Evening 2026

Following another outstanding year for Drama at Worth, students were celebrated with a red carpet, glitzy awards evening last Saturday.

Trophies were presented for best actor, best supporting actor and best breakthrough for all three major shows: The Addams Family, Six the Musical and Shrek. There were additional awards for junior performer of the year, singer of the year and tech of the year, while two special awards went to Ben as Heart of the Department and Louis as Outstanding Performer of the Year.

Special guest for the evening was West End performer Matthew Goodgame, while a number of former students who excelled in Drama while at Worth returned to be part of the event.

Attention in the Drama department now turns to our 2026-27 shows, starting with the interactive performance of Sweeney Todd on 18 and 19 September which includes a three-course dinner. That will be followed by We Will Rock You in December and High School Musical next May.
