Football teams claim four wins

Four of our boys’ football teams enjoyed victories away to Sevenoaks School on Saturday.

There were wins for the 3rd XI, 4th XI, U14A and U14B teams while the U16B boys drew 0-0. The 1st XI suffered a 1-0 defeat in a close encounter.

Well done to all who represented the School in fixtures at the weekend.

Here are some pictures from the 1st XI game and other fixtures, taken by student Matthew Laird and teacher Mr Dan Weaver.

Worth is running 22 representative sides this academic year, including five girls’ teams from U13s to 1st XI level. The football programme is led by Mr Daniel Collins, a UEFA A licence coach who has managed and coached in the non-league and academy system.
