Former Worth Art student Lapo Piccinini returned to the School last week to deliver a two-hour ceramic workshop to current Year 12 A Level students.
After completing his Sixth Form studies at Worth, Lapo went to the University of the Arts London to study Ceramic Design. He was recently awarded a three-month residency at the Portuguese porcelain company Vista Alegre, through a university project.
A requirement of his current project at university is to design and deliver a workshop, which is why he came back to Worth last Wednesday. The day included Lapo taking questions on artistic degrees, before delivering a practical workshop where students created test tiles to have for reference in the studio.
We were delighted to welcome back Lapo and are pleased to hear that he has continued to build on his creative journey started at Worth.
