A Poetry Club is among the new activities, clubs and societies introduced for students in the Lent Term, along with the Ancient Civilisations Society, French Reading Club and Netball Umpiring Club.
Another addition is Executive Functioning, where students can learn how to improve personal and academic skills such as goal setting, memory, planning, organisation and emotional regulation by understanding how your brain functions.
Programming Team is a group where students keen on coding and programming can take part in external competitions, while Origami Club is another addition. Meanwhile, TED Talks have been reintroduced, giving students the chance to watch videos featuring a range of inspiring talks on subjects from robotics to the science of laughter.
Each week Worth students can choose from a range of 150 activities, clubs and societies through our co-curricular programme, offering something for everyone. These are included on the academic timetable on Tuesdays, Thursdays and Friday.
Among the societies we offer are Academic Scholars’ Society, Debating Society, Criminology Society, Forensic Science Society, Politics Society, plus Biology, Chemistry, Physics, History and Geography societies.
