Many congratulations to our 1st XI hockey girls who are through to the National Plate semi-finals following an excellent third round win.
The girls triumphed 5-1 away to Ashford School yesterday with a superb team performance, with particular mention to Izzy for scoring all five goals.
This followed wins over Woldingham (2-0) in the first round and Roedean (4-3) in the second round. Worth will now play the winners of the tie between Reigate Grammar School and King’s College School, Wimbledon, in the semi-finals.
Head of Hockey, Mr Calum Giles, said: “I cannot tell you how proud I am. The girls were incredible.”
