Worth hosted an excellent Sixth Form Information Evening on Friday, introducing current Year 11 students to the opportunities and choices available to them at the School.
There were introductions to the Sixth Form at Worth from the Head Master and senior academic staff, current Sixth Form students were on hand to talk about their own experiences plus there were department stands and displays.
There was also a dinner in the refectory, which had been fantastically decorated by the Friends of Worth, our parents’ association who also presented personalised gift bags to students.
Dynamic, varied and challenging, the Sixth Form at Worth offers students an education in the fullest sense. Whether a student opts for the International Baccalaureate Diploma or A Levels, they will be embarking on an educational programme that will prepare them effectively for university and for life.
Next year’s cohort will be based in our fabulous new Sixth Form Centre, the Spencer Building. The new facility, which is nearing completion, includes seminar rooms, study and social spaces for the Sixth Form, plus a new school library and a small auditorium for all pupils.
