Students complete inaugural Worth Bluebell Walk
Ninety pupils from Years 8, 9 and 12 completed the inaugural Worth Bluebell Walk as part of Worth in the Community Day.
The students walked from Ardingly to The Bluebell Railway station at Horsted Keynes where they had a picnic and looked at how the 1920s Pullman carriages are painstakingly restored. They then got on a steam train for a 30-minute journey through the countryside and a long tunnel to East Grinstead. From East Grinstead they followed the Worth Way back to the School for a celebratory barbecue.
The day was a real success and the pupils – and staff – completed the 10-mile walk with impressive pacing and attitude.
