Lord of the Flies is another great show

Our hugely talented drama students delivered another great performance with the Middle School production of Lord of the Flies in the Performing Arts Centre theatre across two nights last week.

Worth’s reputation for drama is outstanding and the cast did not disappoint with some superb acting in our second major production of the academic year, following the Senior School production of Sister Act in December.

Directed by Mr Matthew Wellman, Worth’s production of Lord of the Flies reimagined William Golding’s classic novel in a contemporary post-nuclear world. Featuring an ambitious set design with live camera work and four tons of sand, the show offered a bold, immersive retelling of this timeless story.

Focus now switches to the Junior School production of Matilda across three nights in June. Tickets for the show are now on sale here: https://events.liveit.io/worth-school/

Later in June Worth will be hosting its annual Drama Awards Evening, a glitzy affair which celebrates the achievements of our students.
