This year’s edition of our student-led magazine Identity focuses on the values and experiences that define Worth, presenting a balanced view of student life through thoughtful writing, reflection and storytelling.
On sale at Speech Day tomorrow, this will be the 53rd edition of the magazine which has been running since April 1996. The magazine has given voice to generations of young writers, exploring the issues that matter most to them.
Written entirely by students, this edition of Identity brings together a collection of articles exploring themes of identity, growth, community and new beginnings. The magazine combines personal narratives, interviews and reflections to showcase the experiences and perspectives of students across Worth School.
The issue includes a range of pieces, from deeply personal stories such as What We Inherit and The Path I Never Planned to Take, to broader reflections on the future in Graduating into Uncertainty. Several articles explore relationships and belonging, including Something Like Brothers and Between Arrival and Belonging, highlighting the importance of community in shaping identity.
The magazine also features interviews with key figures in the Worth community, including In Conversation with Fr Martin and Meeting Our New Head, offering insights into faith, leadership and education.
Alongside this, the edition celebrates school life through articles on sport, creativity and service, such as The Rise of Girls’ Hockey, More Than the Game, Performance and Creativity at Worth and Worth Gives Back. These pieces reflect the School’s active and collaborative spirit.
