Maths team are 10th in UK

Well done to a team of four Further Maths students and one IB Diploma student who finished 10th overall in the UK when competing in the international Naboj maths competition held last Friday at Dulwich College.

The competition involves students working together to solve a series of increasingly difficult mathematical questions in a two-hour time slot.

The UK competition takes place at four different venues in England and Scotland, with an overall position announced on the day for each school taking part once scores from the various locations are calculated.

Similar competitions are held in 14 other countries including Germany, Poland and Switzerland among others.

To finish 10th in the country in this prestigious competition is an impressive achievement.
