Music scholars produce excellent concert

Worth’s annual Music Scholars’ Concert was an amazing showcase of talent, with our students performing a varied and high-quality programme.

This concert last Friday was an opportunity to celebrate the hard work and achievements of our music scholars, and to show how much they have developed their talents at the School.

As well as two sopranos, the evening featured a range of instruments including flute, piano, cello, saxophone and drum kit. Students performed a range of pieces including Mozart, Bach, Debussy and Jimmy Dorsey.

Our next big music event at Worth is the Worth Musician of the Year final on Friday 8 May.

Music is important at Worth with many different ways to perform, including choirs, the school orchestra, concert band, jazz band and various ensembles as well as open mic events and the annual House Music competition.
