The three finalists have been decided for this year’s Worth Musician of the Year competition following an excellent semi-final last Friday.
Worth Musician of the Year was introduced in 2019 to showcase the musical talent within the School and the competition was won last year by flautist Louisa Campling.
Our guest adjudicator last Friday was Dale Chambers, a music teacher, coach and senior ABRSM examiner who has toured Europe as a performer and has worked with the world’s finest string players including Joshua Bell and Nigel Kennedy.
Mr Chambers had the tough decision of choosing which students to progress to the final later in the academic year and ultimately put through a pianist, a flautist and a violist. Well done to all students who performed last Friday. The final is due to take place on Friday 8 May.
