Musicians shine at informal concert

Well done to students who performed at last Friday’s impressive Informal Wind and Brass Concert in the Coleburt Room at Worth.

The School’s first music event of 2026 included a wide range of repertoire, from classical to jazz as well as some well-known television themes and movie soundtracks.

Each year Worth runs a series of informal concerts which offers opportunities for students to play in front of their peers and parents in a supportive environment. Our next concert in this series will be the Informal Percussion and Guitar Concert on Friday 30 January.

Further upcoming musical events this term include Live Lounge on Friday 6 February, House Bands on 27 February, the Worth Musician of the Year semi-final on 3 March, our termly Ensembles Concert on 19 March and Tenebrae on 26 March.
