A group of Worth netball players got a taste of what it might be like to train at the highest level of the sport when they took part in a masterclass coaching session run by Rowena Scott-Fairclough, Head of London Pulse Pathway.
Rowena led them through a London Pulse Academy session in which the intensity was high. They worked on accuracy in their movement, taking on the defender and being accountable for the standard they bring to the court.
The students were also able to discuss their team goals for next season and reflect on what they will contribute in future training sessions and matches.
This has been a successful term for netball under new Head of Netball, Ms Elaine Pieters. The 1st team won nine and drew one of their 15 fixtures in all competitions, the U15A side won five and drew one of nine fixtures, while there was good progress shown across all teams.
