Our fantastic new £2.5m Science extension is nearing completion and it is looking great ahead of an official opening.
The final stages of the project are currently being completed and the facility will be ready to be used at the start of the 2025-26 academic year.
The design of the new Science project involves constructing a single storey building and infilling the space between the existing Science and Art/D&T buildings to provide three new Science laboratories and a new entrance to the department. The building will have its own electricity source and will be net zero.
This project will benefit all pupils and will be the latest addition in an ambitious programme of development at the School.
These pictures of the new classrooms were taken just before half term, with the last image being the initial artist’s impression of the work.
