Nine new records set at Sports Day

Among some outstanding performances, there were nine school records broken at the recent Worth Community Trophy Athletics Championships at K2 Crawley.

Each year our students push themselves to new limits on a day when the character of Worth shines through.

Eight of the nine new records were set in field events: Senior Girls’ shot put; Senior Girls’ discus; Senior Girls’ javelin; Inter Boys’ discus; Inter Boys’ shot put; Junior Boys’ javelin; Junior Girls’ javelin; and Junior Girls’ long jump. The other new best set came in the Inter Boys’ 200m.

Well done to all athletes who set new records.
