Pupils show Worth’s values

Pupils in Austin House showed the values which underpin the Worth community as they collected almost 60 shoeboxes which will be sent to some of the poorest people in Ukraine, Moldova, Bulgaria and Romania.

The initiative was organised by the Chaplaincy team and was run for the charity Link to Hope which has sent more than 1,000,000 shoeboxes to hundreds of different locations since starting their Shoebox Appeal in 1992.

Worth pupils put together boxes containing toiletries, clothing items, small toys, pens and paper, sweets and other items from a specific wish list.

Well done to all pupils who contributed to this initiative.
