Rugby boys earn Sussex U17 call-up
Wed, Mar 12th, 2025
Congratulations to Year 12 rugby players James Broyd, Sam Denslow and Charlie Grant who have been selected for the Sussex U17 squad following trials.
About 90 boys took part in the trials, so for three Worth boys to be selected for the final squad is an excellent achievement.
They will now join the squad for training ahead of three matches in May against Eastern Counties, Surrey and Hertfordshire.
This news continues an excellent year for rugby at Worth including two of our teams reaching national quarter-finals, one 1st XV player becoming a regular with the England U18 side and another joining an England U18 training camp during the recent half term break.
Well done boys.
