Silver success for students

Almost 40 Year 10 students took part in their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Silver Qualifying Expedition on Ashdown Forest last weekend. Well done to all.

Worth has a large and active Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme with almost one third of pupils taking part each year and we are proud to have the highest achievement rate among independent schools in the South East region.

The Duke of Edinburgh’s Award is a challenging programme of personal development and is recognised by universities and organisations around the world.

In June there will be a Gold Qualifying Expedition to Dartmoor and in the final week of term Year 9 pupils will take part in their Bronze Qualifying Expedition.
