Six rugby players attend Lambs trials

Well done to six Worth rugby players who represented the School at the Lambs RFC U18 regional trials at Harrow last weekend.

Lambs is a prestigious representative side for boys who are not members of a Premiership Academy, not a part of the RFU Elite Pathway, not playing divisional level rugby in the RFU Aspirational Pathway and who are in Year 13.

Following the trials, the top 28 players from the North, South East, and South West will be selected to play in a ‘Chairman’s Day’ this weekend, after which 40 boys will be selected for the 2025 Lambs season which includes fixtures such as Jamaica U18s, Sale Sharks Academy and Bath Academy.

The six boys are part of this academic year’s 1st XV who enjoyed a fabulous season in the Autumn Term, winning 13 and drawing one of their fixtures before losing their final game of the season in the quarter-finals of the National Vase.
