Skier second in championships

Congratulations to Worth skier Gabriel who claimed a podium finish at the National Schools Outdoor Open Championships (South England) at Chatham Snowsports Centre ski slope.

Gabriel finished second, which means he has now been invited on to the National Schools Snowsports Association (NSSA) alpine squad.

The competition is put on by the NSSA and is an open championship for dry slope slalom racing. There is a South England and a North England Championship and entrants can be entered individually or as a school team. Each racer has three runs which are electronically timed, with the best being the one which counts.

Well done to Gabriel
