Congratulations to Year 11 student Freddie McLoughlin who has been placed on the ‘Honours List’ in a national essay competition.
Freddie submitted an essay to the Immerse Education Essay Competition on the topic of UBI (universal basic income). This is an international competition which in previous years has attracted about 10,000 entrants and it works in conjunction with universities in many countries such as Oxford, Cambridge and Sydney University.
His essay was placed on the Honours List which means it was commended to the extent that:
- He will gain access to a series of Scholars’ Salons that are virtual webinars for orientation, providing further academic insights.
- He will receive a complimentary upgrade to the ‘Immerse Excel Package’ if he enrols in an Immerse Programme for the summer of 2026.
Well done Freddie.
