Students at work in Wales
Fri, Oct 24th, 2025
Sixth Form Geography students went on a two-night residential trip to The Gower Peninsular in Wales to support their A Level and IB studies.
This was a compulsory trip for Year 12 IB students to collect data for their internal assessment and an optional trip for Year 13 A Level students to gain practical experience of the subject.
The group collected sand dune data as well as visiting landforms of deposition and erosion at various locations along the coastline.
To make the most of the beautiful Welsh beach, students also had the opportunity to take part in a two-hour introductory surf lesson.
