Well done to members of our Model United Nations Society who received certificates for how they performed in their biggest challenge yet.
The School sent a team to take part in the Haileybury MUN conference, which is the biggest of its kind in the world with more than 1,000 participants taking part from schools in the UK and overseas.
This was a considerable challenge for the group as some delegates had already been to more than 50 conferences. The competition was also technologically more advanced than Worth had been to in the past, which meant new procedures being learned, but the students represented the School superbly in their committees and we are proud of their efforts.
MUN conferences are a simulation of the United Nations for pupils in schools and higher education. They provide a great opportunity to develop research skills and public speaking abilities.
