Students show teamwork and determination

Once again Year 10 students showed impressive teamwork and determination as they completed their Duke of Edinburgh’s Award Silver Qualifying Expedition on Ashdown Forest last weekend.

The togetherness of the group was emphasised when they celebrated the birthday of one of the group on the final day.

Worth has a large and active Duke of Edinburgh’s Award programme, which supports our mission to develop the whole person, providing young people with challenges and opportunities.

In June, Gold Award students will take part in their Qualifying Expedition on Dartmoor while the Bronze Award equivalent will be on Ashdown Forest in the final week of term.
