Tennis season starts with a trophy

It was an excellent start to the tennis season for Worth as our U16A Girls won the Sussex League Plate final.
Facing Hurst B in the final, the team showcased impressive form with dominant singles wins from Marie and Elodie, alongside a commanding doubles victory by Marie and Maria-Victoria. Eliza’s match proved to be the highlight—a grueling contest that came down to a nail-biting tie-breaker. The sudden death decider ultimately went Eliza’s way, cementing a thrilling win for Worth.
Tennis at Worth is now overseen by Ms Elaine Pieters. Our tennis programme enjoys strong links with professional coaches from Crawley Tennis Club.
