Sixth Form History and Politics students enjoyed a fascinating trip to Washington during half term, visiting major landmarks including the United States Capitol, Library of Congress and The National Archives Museum.

The trip also involved going to the Arlington National Cemetery, White House Visitor Centre, the National Air and Space Museum, plus the National Museum of African American History and Culture.

Students also enjoyed a walking tour around the key sites while evening meals included going to the Hard Rock Café.

The trip was a tremendous experience for the History and Politics students, providing compelling insights into American history.

Every year students at Worth take part in a wide variety of trips including charitable, educational and sports trips, home and abroad. This summer there is a music tour to Lake Garda in Italy, while later this calendar year there are History trips to Auschwitz and Berlin, a Drama trip to New York, a surf trip to Morocco and a ski trip to Austria.
