Worth hosts GCSE options event

Worth is today hosting a GCSE options event for Year 9 students and families, introducing them to the range of subjects they can study in the next two years.

While certain subjects are compulsory, there is a broad choice of optional subjects for boys and girls to choose from.

Our annual options event gives students and families the opportunity to chat with subject teachers as well as Sixth Form and Year 11 students about the courses we offer. The event starts at 5.30pm.

At Worth GCSE course content begins by at least the beginning of the Lent Term in Year 9, which enables students to make an informed choice about the subjects they want to study going forward.

Worth is an academically ambitious school. We promote intellectual curiosity by making connections between subjects and ideas, and we encourage intellectual risk-taking. The classroom is an exciting place to be.
