Worth hosts young leaders conference

Worth was delighted to host a conference for inspiring, empowering and training young leaders in youth ministry.

Last Friday’s CSYMI SHINE Conference was the first of its kind in the UK and involved Worth students as well as students from seven other schools around the country, including a group visiting from Scotland.

The day included worship, workshops and teaching about peer-led ministry.

Worth is a Catholic school but it is also a diverse community with pupils and staff from a wide array of church backgrounds and other religions or none.

The Chaplaincy team is at the heart of the school community and a strong Christian moral purpose underpins the outstanding pastoral care given to pupils.
