Worth named Boarding School of the Year finalist

Worth School is delighted to be named as one of the finalists in the prestigious Independent Schools of the Year Awards 2026.

Judges considered the merits of more than 1,000 schools entered before choosing Worth as one of six finalists in the Independent Boarding School of the Year category.

This was an award Worth won in 2024 when judges praised our pastoral case, spiritual grounding alongside academic excellence, our excellent facilities, endless opportunities and how our values are embedded in everyday life at the School.

Worth has four boarding Houses for boys and girls, each with its own dedicated pastoral team. We also have a Head of Boarding who oversees our provision and an extensive weekends programme which offers opportunities beyond the classroom on Friday evening, Saturday morning and evening, plus Sunday daytime. This includes social events, trips and activities.

The winners of each category at the Independent Schools of the Year Awards will be announced at an awards ceremony being held on Wednesday 14 October.
