Year 10 attend GCSE Science Live!

Year 10 pupils heard from five of Britain’s top scientists when they attended GCSE Science Live! at Brighton Dome this week.

Each of the scientists was carefully chosen for their ability to communicate with students of this age in a direct and exciting way. They included Professor Robert Winston, a well-known television presenter and distinguished scientist, particularly in the area of human fertility.

This fast-moving, exciting, thought-provoking day gave pupils the chance to raise issues with the scientists as well as showing them that science really does offer solutions for many of the world’s great problems.

The day also included a section with an experienced chief examiner talking about top tips on GCSE examination success.
